Wild Dancing on Sacred Lands - A Lammas Celebration Avebury
We’ll be beating our feet on the blessed and sacred lands of a beautiful arable farm just outside Avebury in Wiltshire, for this high summer dance.
Address:
10 minutes from Avebury, just outside Winterbourne Bassett. Exact address details to be provided at time of booking.
Contact:
Sophie
Stefanie (stefanieyoung@mac.com) for onsite logistics
Parking and toilets are available onsite
Time: 7pm - 9.30pm
Please bring your own mug.
This time of the year - high summer (and high temperatures we hope), is also the first of three Wiccan festivals, Lammas, Mabon (autumn equinox) and Samhain.
As if in perfect synchronicity, given Lammas celebrates harvesting of the grain, these wide-open farm lands will welcome us for this August dance.
Crops will be gathered in as we beat our feet upon the earth, under a setting sun and the just-waning Sturgeon supermoon.
